Ireland is one of my favourite destinations for three decades now. I had some of the most beautiful encounters with the locals and I always enjoy being there, even without golf clubs. For this website, however, I have limited myself to hotels near golf courses.

The country of unlimited opportunities is another of the beloved places to travel for both my wife and me. We love the amazing landscapes and also find it the best for combining our hobbies. Horseback riding (my wife) and golfing (me). So it is no wonder that two of the features places to stay are impressive horse ranches.

Portugal

Apart from Porto and Lisbon, I have not been to many places on the Portuguese mainland, but I have traveled to some of their Atlantic islands. So in this section you will find a selection of hotels from Madeira and the Azores. I enjoyed all of them, but ... have a look for yourself.
